Membership is open · 44 benefits · One card
$4,560 a year in typical household savings — every month, for as long as you live here. Groceries, pharmacy, phone, fuel, flights home, money transfers, insurance and more. Forty-four benefits, one card on your phone, for $25 a year. Join in two minutes and your card is issued today.
Free forever, member or not: the Consular Desk, Scam Watch, and every guide on this site. Cancel any time. We never ask your immigration status.
A registered nonprofit membership association, run by its members and their associations. Everything below is published in full rather than summarised.
Together and Stronger is a network of independent associations serving people born abroad, whatever their status, US citizens born abroad, the US-born children of foreign-born parents, and their families, relatives and friends — hometown clubs, federations, congregations, unions, professional groups, women's and youth associations, and any organisation built by people who arrived here from somewhere else.
We guide. We help. We advocate. We negotiate bargains our members could never obtain alone, and we push back against a cost of living that falls hardest on the people who arrived most recently. Our purpose is to make the journey easier, more successful, and more favourable than it was for those who came before.
Membership is open
One membership covers every adult and child in your household. Each person gets their own card and uses the benefits independently.
Forty-four benefits in seven areas. Every one shows exactly where it stands, so you always know what you can use today.
We publish this plainly, because you should be able to see exactly what your $25 buys before you spend it.

Every adult and every child gets their own card and uses the benefits independently. No tiers, no upgrade, no upsell — and the price you join at is the price you keep.
Your card is issued the moment you join. Membership renews annually and you can cancel at any time.
Membership is not only a card. It connects you to your own association, to associations across the country, and to a members' board where our communities ask for and offer help.
One of several ways members reach us — community organizations, faith and worker networks, and direct membership. Every association keeps its independence.
Volunteer coaches on career, business, money and settling in. Free, vetted, and never a sales pitch.
A short, practical reading list and a kit associations can use to run a circle. Every book free from the library.
When a family faces a cost no household can carry alone, verified cases go to the network. Funds paid straight to the vendor and published openly.
Ready when you are
A registered nonprofit membership association. The card, the guides, Scam Watch and the Consular Desk are working today, and new benefits are added as each partner signs.
$25 a year per adult · Children under 18 free · Cancel any time
Count your household, then create your account. Your card is on your phone the moment you finish — no waiting, no paperwork.
Yes. Membership is open, and your digital card is issued the moment you finish signing up. Partnership programmes are ongoing: each benefit shows its live status on the benefits page and the list grows as every new partner signs. Your membership covers everything that is live today and everything added during the year.
$25 a year per adult; children under 18 are free. That includes a digital card for every person, which lives on your phone and in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and a print-at-home card you can make yourself on ordinary cardstock.
That is our published price, and members hear first if it ever changes.
Every benefit on this site carries its real status, and the progress board is updated as each partner signs. Several are working today and you can use them right now: the Mutual Aid Compact is published in full, the Consular Liaison Desk is open and free, Scam Watch is live, and the guides are yours to read. New partner programmes are announced to members first.
Never. Not on a membership form, not on any benefit application, not anywhere. There is no field for it and there never will be. No benefit we are building depends on it, and we will not accept a partner who requires it.
No. Together and Stronger is not an insurance company and does not sell, issue or administer insurance. Where insurance appears among the benefits, it is underwritten and issued by licensed carriers. We never take a premium or handle a claim. The Mutual Aid Compact is also not insurance and creates no right to any payment.
Anyone with a foreign-born story. People born abroad, whatever their status. US citizens born abroad. The US-born children of foreign-born parents. And their families, relatives and friends — because the person who pays for the repatriation, sends the money home or drives the parent to the consulate is very often someone born here. Any origin, any language. We never ask immigration status.
This part is open today, and it is free. Your association names two officers, signs the Compact, and keeps full control of its own bylaws, officers, bank account and members. Founding chapters elect the first Compact Council and set the tier ceilings. Withdraw any time on thirty days' notice with no penalty.
Dues in a membership association of this kind are generally not deductible as charitable contributions. We would rather say so plainly now than have you find out at tax time.
