What membership will cover.

The full picture of what a membership gets you. Filter by what matters to your household. Each one carries its real status, and none of it goes live until the agreement behind it is signed.

Travel & money

The routes and the fees nobody bothers with.

Airlines discount tourists. Nobody has bothered with the routes our families actually fly — five seats to Lagos in December, four to Manila in July, booked a year ahead and never cancelled. We are negotiating on those corridors specifically, including the concession that matters most: a free extra checked bag.

And the fee that costs a household most over a year is the transfer fee — plus the exchange-rate margin nobody shows you. Member rates on remittances are the first agreement we are chasing.

Members on the founding list are told the week each corridor opens, and nothing appears as available here until the agreement is signed.

Insurance & health

Coverage written for our households.

Carriers price immigrant households badly because they do not understand them. A foreign driving licence is not a risk. A thin credit file is not a risk. We intend to negotiate as a block so members are quoted fairly, in their own language.

Everyday

Auto, renters, dental, vision

  • Carriers that write for foreign licences and thin credit files
  • Dental and vision plans for the whole household
  • Telehealth and a nationwide gym network
  • Free help enrolling in marketplace health coverage

All insurance would be issued and serviced by licensed carriers. Together and Stronger holds no insurance licence and would never take a premium or handle a claim.

Peace of mind

Life and final expense

  • Guaranteed-issue final expense cover, no medical exam
  • Repatriation rider: pays the funeral home directly, here or at home
  • Group term life and accidental death
  • No status question — carriers that issue on an ITIN

Sending someone home costs between $4,000 and $18,000 depending on the country. Almost no household has that ready.

Guides & answers

Plain answers, free to everyone.

No jargon and no upsell. Membership gets you the negotiated rates behind these — the information itself is open to anybody.

Community

Forty-five million potential members, one network.

Membership is not only a card. It connects you to your own association, to associations across the country, and to a members' board where our communities ask for and offer help.

A connected network

One of several ways members reach us — community organizations, faith and worker networks, and direct membership. Every association keeps its independence.

Coaching

Volunteer coaches on career, business, money and settling in. Free, vetted, and never a sales pitch.

Reading circles

A short, practical reading list and a kit associations can use to run a circle. Every book free from the library.

Mutual aid

When a family faces a cost no household can carry alone, verified cases go to the network. Funds paid straight to the vendor and published openly.

Advocacy & associations

Members are a constituency, not a mailing list.

As a membership association we intend to speak for our members where decisions are made — and to publish exactly what we said and to whom.

What we will push for

Three fights, to start

  • Remittance transparency. Full disclosure of the exchange-rate margin, not only the posted fee.
  • Wage theft enforcement. Recovery funds and language access at labor commissions.
  • Consular ID acceptance. Banks, hospitals and utilities recognising consular identification.

Members vote on what we take up next.

Where we are

Built in the open.

We would rather show you the real state of things than a launch date we cannot keep. This board is updated as each stage closes, and nothing on this site claims to exist before it does.

Questions

What people ask first.

Can I join today?

Not yet. You can join the founding list, which costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Paid membership opens once the partner agreements behind the benefits are signed — we will not take a dollar for savings and coverage that do not exist yet. The progress board above shows exactly where we are.

What will membership cost?

$15 a year per member. That includes your digital card, which lives on your phone, and a print-at-home card you can make yourself on ordinary cardstock.

If you would rather have a proper printed card mailed to you, that is $10 extra for printing and shipping — $25 in total. Associations can order printed cards in bulk at a lower rate for their members.

That is the planned pricing and we will tell the founding list first if it changes.

Why should I believe the benefits will actually appear?

You should not take it on faith, which is why every benefit on this page carries its real status and why the progress board exists. Two things are genuinely finished today and you can inspect them yourself: the Mutual Aid Compact is published in full, and the Consular Liaison Desk is open and free. Judge us on those.

Will you ask about my immigration status?

Never. Not on the founding list, not on a membership form, not on any benefit application. There is no field for it and there never will be. No benefit we are building depends on it, and we will not accept a partner who requires it.

Is this insurance?

No. Together and Stronger is not an insurance company and does not sell, issue or administer insurance. Where insurance appears among the planned benefits, it would be underwritten and issued by licensed carriers who pay to use our name. We would never take a premium or handle a claim. We would never take a premium or handle a claim. The Mutual Aid Compact is also not insurance and creates no right to any payment.

How does an association join?

This part is open today, and it is free. Your association names two officers, signs the Compact, and keeps full control of its own bylaws, officers, bank account and members. Founding chapters elect the first Compact Council and set the tier ceilings. Withdraw any time on thirty days' notice with no penalty.

Will my dues be tax-deductible?

Dues in a membership association of this kind are generally not deductible as charitable contributions. We would rather say so plainly now than have you find out at tax time.
