Dünya Doktorları Derneği (DDD) is a Turkey based humanitarian non-governmental organisation that facilitates access to healthcare for populations affected by armed conflict, violence, natural disasters, disease, famine, poverty and exclusion.
Our organization collaborates with partners and key stakeholders to implement projects that facilitate access to primary and secondary-level healthcare services and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services to respond to the medical needs of displaced population.
DDD is the 16th member of the Doctors of the World International Network (Médecins du Monde-MdM) that is committed to meeting the health needs of vulnerable people globally.

Our Mission:
Since 2015, DDD implements programs in both Turkey and Syria providing refugee and IDP communities with free access to health and mental health care services.
DDD works with a range of humanitarian professionals and technical experts to provide Primary Healthcare (PHC), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) services as well as sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services.
DDD provides MHPSS services to refugees and migrants in various locations accross Turkey. Within its 3 MHPSS Centres in urban areas, DDD does health and mental health promotion activities, provides case management to those facing barriers in accessing their rights and offer basic services (health, protection and social services, legal aid, etc). DDD has a team of more than 50 MHPSS professionals that can provide specialized and non-specialized mental health services with psychotherapeautical and psychiatric approach. For rural areas, DDD is running 3 Mobile Medical Units (MMUS) that provide basic PHC services as well as MHPSS services for adults and children that include case management with a specific focus on referrals to enable access to both primary and secondary health care.
